The Grange - Supported Living

Introduction

The Grange is a supported living unit for men and women with mild to moderate learning difficulties, mental health problems, autism, challenging behaviour and other complex needs.

The Grange provides a friendly and supportive environment for residents, enabling them to live independently in their own home and make their own choices.

Accommodation and Facilities

The Grange is a large home with five self-contained flats, a beautiful, landscaped garden, and an on-site Skills Development Centre. It is located in a quiet residential area with good access to transport links and shopping facilities.

Clients can expect:

  • Pre-admission assessment to identify care needs.
  • Individual care programmes tailored to each client’s requirements with progressive goal setting and regular reviews to respond to changing needs.
  • Support with independent life skills development including daily living activities, money management, travel skills, community integration, etc.
  • 24-hour support.
  • Strong links with sponsors and carers.
  • Specialised staff in autism, learning disability, epilepsy and managing challenging behaviour.
  • Access to health care services such as Psychiatrists, Speech Therapists, GPs, Physiotherapists, Occupational therapists and nurses, as required.
